Baptist Hospital For Women Lunch And Learn Program
A woman's well-being and health are the cornerstone of Baptist's newest educational program, Lunch and Learn. Held the third Tuesday of every month, the Lunch and Learn is an hour-long event for women to come together, learn and discuss hot topics in healthcare for women. More than 150 women attended the kickoff event in July, "What Women Want to Know: From Hormones to Hot Flashes." Every event features a different topic, with discussions ranging from ovarian cancer to nutrition. Lunch and Learns feature a different physician each month educating women about advances in healthcare. Attendees are treated to a healthy lunch, followed by the physician's presentation and a question and answer period. Lunch and Learn events cost $10 per person and are held in the Judy and Joe Johnson Conference Center at Baptist Hospital for Women.
