A part of the BAPTIST HEALTH SYSTEM, BAPTIST UNIVERSITY is a corporate university in a health care setting serving the learning needs of the BAPTIST HEALTH SYSTEM.

The university has two institutes:

• Leadership Development Institute
  offers courses for team leaders and managers. The Foundations of Leadership include five basic management development courses. Additional curricula is offered in the Advanced Leadership Courses.

The Baptist University is a Community Training Center for the American Heart Association. Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Courses are open to the community (see calendar).

As we move forward in the twenty-first century knowledge will be a much greater predictor of success. Individual responsibility for continuous learning will be a desired trait for the new generation.
