homebound. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of

provide services that help them regain lost skills and independence. |
Comprehensive Services
Skilled Nursing includes registered/licensed nurses with training and
experience in providing care in the home.
- HomeCare Aide Services
are provided by a registered nurse or physical therapist. Typical duties
include bathing, dressing and assistance with daily living activities.
- Medical Social Workers
assist patients and caregivers in adjusting to emotional, social or
personal changes associated with illness.
- Physical Therapy
is provided by physical therapists and helps increase the level of functioning
by offering gait training, home adaptation and home exercise programs.
- Speech Therapy
helps patients communicate effectively and swallow safely. A pathologist
works with patients to restore the patient's speech/language and/or
swallowing skills.

injury or developmental disability. Therapists assist to improve memory
and planning and with adaptations for vision and hearing.

mental illness or emotional distress.

bedridden to be considered homebound. However, leaving home must be
considered difficult. Walkers, wheelchairs or the assistance of another
person is often necessary.

is considered wherever they make their home. An institution, such as

services.
