All Centers
are
staffed by a full-time primary care physician and are open
five
days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Top 9 services include:
- Specialization - Each Center caters exclusively to patients 50 and
older and new Medicare patients are always welcome.
- Quality - Full-time primary care physicians are trained in family
practice or internal medicine and specialize in the treatment and prevention
of age-related diseases.
- Diagnostics- Most X-ray and laboratory work is performed on-site.
- Trained Specialists - Consulting dietitians, social workers and pharmacists
work with each facility.
- Regular Health Screenings - Blood sugar, stroke and osteoporosis screenings
are offered on a regular basis.
- Health Resources - Senior Health Center staff works closely with
Senior Plus, HomeCare, the Geriatric Assessment Program and Home Medical
Equipment.
- Wellness and Education Classes - These are held on-site and include
daily exercise classes such as PACE for arthritis and osteoporosis.
- Convenience - Six offices are located in Knox, Blount, Sevier and
Loudon counties and free front door parking is available.
- After-Hours Emergencies - Calls outside of normal business hours are
answered by registered nurses and any concerns are then paged to the
on-call Senior Health Center physician.
