Surgery
The hospital's Surgical Unit has three operating suites and a ten-bed
Day Surgery Unit. Each month, between 150 and 300 surgeries are performed.
Using laparoscopic equipment, physicians can perform a variety of procedures
that allow patients to have quicker recovery times, less scarring and
and shorter hospital stays.

Physical
Therapy
A wide range of services for both inpatients and outpatients
is offered by the hospital's Physical Therapy Department. Treatments
including traction, ultrasound, whirlpools, electrical stimulation,
massage and exercise programs are designed to assist patients with
regaining functional independence.
Critical Care Unit
A new Critical Care Unit allows more specialty surgery
to be performed with less transfer of patients to medical
facilities in larger cities. Qualified nursing personnel
work in CUU to provide continuous medical care with the
latest technology.
Imaging
A modern Imaging Department provides general radiography, CT, general
and cardiovascular ultrasound, nuclear medicine and mobile MRI services.
The Mammography Department is fully accredited by the American College
of Radiology. Staffed 24 hours a day, the Imaging Department performs
approximately 30,000 procedures each year.

Pastoral Care
The Chaplain is available to provide religious counseling and
guidance to patients and family members.
Laboratory
More than 60,000 clinical assays using the most modern instrumentation
and equipment are performed in the Laboratory annually. General routine
procedures include cholesterol screenings, coagulation studies and hematologic
tests. General chemistry procedures are offered as well as cardiac, liver
and lipid profiles.
Baptist HomeCare
Home is where the heart is, and it's also where increasing
numbers of healthcare professional are providing their
services. Baptist HomeCare is providing patients with a
wide range of services in their homes, including skilled
nursing care, Lifeline, home health aides, medical social
services.

Social
Services/Discharge Planning
Social work services are available to patients and families who
require assistance in coping with illness, rehabilitation or other
needs associated with the hospital stay and discharge.
